Artist's Description
Deep in the New River Gorge in West Virginia, state highway 16 snakes its way down the mountain towards to New River. Running along side it is the beautiful Laurel Creek. As it drops along with highway 16, it runs over several small to medium size waterfalls, including the 25 foot Laurel Creek Falls. Beautiful it is, partially visible from the road it is, easily accessible it is not. Plan on a rough trip to the base of this one if the view from the road is not enough.
